Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) provides the basic building blocks for creating and maintaining a blog.  However, it does not provide many of the “advanced” features of most blogging platforms today.  In addition, there isn’t a built-in aggregation page that provides a listing of all posts across blogs in your organization.  This session will walk through a real-life implementation of a blogging platform using the Community Kit for SharePoint Enhanced Blog Edition (EBE) solution from CodePlex.  It will also highlight several customizations that can be made to the standard EBE implementation to create a true blogging platform.  Through this demonstration we’ll look at customizing Content Query Web Parts and different rendering schemas.
